Hometown: Seattle, WA Year: Third Major: Political Science, History After competing for three years in High School, Dan went on to become a member of GW Mock Trial shortly after entering the university as a Freshman. During his Sophomore year, he was a member of team 756, which placed second at the National Championship Tournament. This season, Dan looks forward to new competition, and, of course, to GW’s inevitable victory. Though his mock history is well known, the details of Dan’s personal life are less clear. Often spoken of only in strained whispers by dying candlelight, his name has become an icon of terror to his enemies and friends alike, even after his recent designation as The World's Sexiest Man. Often credited as the force behind such events as: The Peace of Westphalia, the crossing of the Rubicon, and Man’s mastery of fire, many consider Dan to be the single most important figure of human history. Though academic accounts of his origins are contradictory, many speculate, due to his life’s conformity with Jungian hero archetypes, that he has never truly existed at all. Instead, these scholars propose, Dan exists primarily as an ever changing cultural myth, deeply representative of, and perhaps synonymous with, the human sprit. |
