Greetings!
This past weekend (12.03 – 12.05), our A and C teams competed at the University of Oklahoma Mock Trial Program’s Nicholas Watts Memorial Invitational Tournament.
Congratulations to our C team, who earned 4th place, with a record of 6 – 2, and to our A team, who earned an honorable mention with a record of 5-3! We also want to recognize Saul Threadgill, who received 19 ranks as a witness on the prosecution, as well as Rebecca Raybourn, who earned a perfect 20 ranks as an attorney on the defense!
The weekend of 11.20 – 11.21, our B team competed at the 6th annual Mocktopia Invitational, hosted by the University of California, Santa Barbara Mock Trial Program. Huge shoutout to to USCB and the Mocktopia tournament staff for an incredibly well-run tournament.
B earned a record of 5-3 at a very competitive tournament! Congratulations to Sofija Juodaitis, who earned 19 ranks as a witness on the defense!
That same weekend, (11.20 – 11.21), our A and C teams competed at Fordham University at Rose Hill Mock Trial’s Sapientia et Doctrina XIII Invitational. Our C team earned a record of 1 – 6 – 1, and our A team earned a record of 5 – 3! Congratulations to Ananya Murthy of GW A, who earned 17 ranks as an attorney on the prosecution!
The weekend of 11.13 – 11.14, our A team competed at the 26th Annual Yale Mock Trial Invitational, earning a record of 5 – 3! Congratulations to Qasim Bilal, who earned 15 ranks as a witness on the defense, and to Saul Threadgill, who earned 19 ranks as an attorney on the defense!
